Against the Ice

In 1909, Denmark's Alabama Exploration led by Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen was trying to disprove the USA' insurance claim to North-Eastern Greenland, an insurance claim that was rooted in the concept that Greenland was broken up into 2 different parcels. Leaving their team behind with the ship, Mikkelsen sleds throughout the ice with his inexperienced staff participant, Iver Iversen.
