Boudu Saved from Drowning

Michel Simon delivers one of the most iconic performances in cinematic history as Boudu, a Parisian vagrant who commits suicide by jumping into the Seine and is rescued by a wealthy bookstore, Edouard Lestingois. The Lestingois family chooses to take in the uncontrollable bum, who expresses his appreciation by rocking the house to its foundations.
