Sang-hyeon, a friend of Dong-soo's, runs a laundromat and serves as a volunteer at the adjacent church. Together, the two operate an illicit enterprise where Sang-hyeon occasionally steals infants from the church's baby box with the assistance of Dong-soo, who erases the church's CCTV footage that demonstrates an infant was left there. They then sell the infants on the black market for adoption. However, So-young, a young mother who had abandoned her child, found them when she returned. She then decided to accompany them on a road trip to meet the baby's future infertile parents. Two investigators, Detective Lee and Soo-jin, are pursuing them in the meantime.
