Buddies

David, an ignorant graduate student, has offered to work as a "friend" for people dying of AIDS. Appointed to the intensely political Robert, a long-lasting lobbyist whose family and friends have actually deserted him following his diagnosis, the two men, each with especially different globe sights, soon find common bonds, as David's internal activist awakens and Robert's demand for psychological release is met.
