Everything Is Cinema
Chris, a young, independent filmmaker from Kerala, is inspired by Louis Malle's 1969 documentary Calcutta and wants to make a modern version of the documentary himself. He moves to Kolkata with his wife Anita, who is also an actress, to work on his documentary. While filming for the documentary is already going on, an outbreak of the Corona virus starts in India, and his producer keeps the money that he had agreed to give him earlier. As the lockdown starts, Chris and Anita are stuck inside the rented apartment in Kolkata. Chris decides to make a movie about his own marriage without telling Anita. He does this to get rid of his anger.
