For the Love of a Child

Support from US troops stationed in Asia and then from the United States leads two actresses to establish a foundation for mixed-race 'orphans' who are social outcasts in their own communities. Thus, Childhelp is born, which eventually operates multidisciplinary centers for abused and/or neglected children throughout the United States. Among them is intelligent Jacob Fletcher, whose stepfather, a lawyer, terrorizes him into oblivion and then relinquishes him after ten months in jail. Jacob's peers have their own terrible backgrounds, but a professional, dedicated staff assists the most of them decisively on the old farm through the use of animal therapy.
