Funny About Love

When Duffy Bergman, a New York cartoonist, meets Meg Lloyd, a gourmet chef, he meets the love of his life, and the two marry — but love isn't enough to keep them happy. Meg says she wants to have a kid, which initially frightens Duffy but quickly becomes his top priority. When they are unable to conceive a child, Meg focuses on her profession, and the two gradually grow apart, eventually splitting up. Duffy later admits that the Delta Gamma sisters have always been his ideal girlfriends— his Love Goddesses— while addressing at a Delta Gamma sorority convention. Daphne Delillo, a young and unrestrained Delta Gamma girl, meets him there. Duffy embarks on an exciting new relationship when Daphne relocates to New York to work as a network sports reporter. Their mutual attraction and Daphne's spontaneity generate an exciting new relationship for Duffy. Duffy must now choose between the connection he has given up and the relationship he has always desired.
