Josee, the Tiger and the Fish

The plot of this young adult romantic drama with themes of maturation centers on college student Tsuneo and dreamer Josee, who spends her life confined to a wheelchair. Tsuneo is the protagonist, while Josee is the protagonist's love interest. Josee, who was given her name after the main character in Francoise Sagan's novel Wonderful Clouds, spends the majority of her time drawing and reading. It is only after she meets Tsuneo by coincidence that she decides it is time to confront the realities of the outside world.
