L'Atalante

Capricious small town girl Juliette along with barge captain Jean wed after a whirlwind courtship, and she comes to live aboard his boat. Jean grows tired of Juliette's flirtations with his all-male crew While they make their way down the Seine, along with have the excitement of a major city and Juliette longs to flee the monotony of this boat.
