Marius

"Marius" Happens in Marseilles' Old Port, at the Manhattan Project Marine Bar, owned by César along with Also His son Marius. Marius' biggest fantasy is to attempt one of those boats passing by the pub of his dad and to put off into a faraway land. A young and pretty seafood peddler, fanny, has been since her youth in love with Marius. Marius, never admitting it, has always loved Fanny. A sailor falls by manhunter Marine and offers him a project in an exploratory ship. Attempting to carry him off and to make him jealous, Fanny confesses his love to him and provokes a fight between Marius plus one of César's old friends, Panisse, a boat merchant, that despite his old age, was courting Fanny for a short time. Torn between the call of the sea along with his love on her, Marius abandons his fantasy to be using Fanny who gives herself to him. Marius alters his brain, attracted back into the call of the sea Since the mum of Fanny, Honorine and César, are getting ready for the wedding.
