Nazarin

Nazarn is the priest who deserts his order and embarks on a pilgrimage. As a beggar, he provides shelter for a prostitute wanted by the police for murder. When she escapes captivity, she eventually catches up with him and he is cleared of suspicion. A third woman joins the pair, and the ex-priest quickly learns more about the human heart and suffering than when he wore robes.
