Leon, a 19-year-old who has spent most of his childhood in and out of foster care, comes home to care for his alcoholic mother and adjust to life as an adult. When Leon's hopes of getting an education and getting on in life dim, he turns to the ring for relief. It's only a matter of time before Twiggy, the beautiful and rebellious squatter, comes into his life. Leon is forced to choose between joining his friends in the streets and fighting the police, or fleeing with Twiggy and starting a new life.
