Alison Wynn can be an amateur triathlete who convinces Dr. Laura Stevens, a contentious peak-performance trainer, to carry her as a customer. Together they embark on a rigorous schedule combining cuttingedge physical training using experimental hypnotherapy in a bid to render Alison competitive. Pushed to her limits and also made to learn more about the painful repressed memories of her mother's suicide,'' Dr. Stevens' punishing regimen helps Alison post notable profits and breakthrough her own glass ceiling. However, at what cost? Alison's family and work life with daughter and her husband suffer but no forfeit appears too great to satisfy the escalating demands of Laura. In reality Laura can do whatever is needed to have Alison all to himself. Since Alison runs directly into Laura's sinister trap, it's as much as Alison's daughter to assist her mum watch through the deception till they lose her.
