The Barbarian Invasions

Within this belated sequel to'The Decline of the American Empire','' 50-something Montreal faculty professor, Remy, recognized that he is dying of liver disease. He decides to make amends fulfill with family and his friends before he expires. He tries to left peace with his ex-wife Louise, who inquires his eldest son Sebastian, a prosperous business man living in London, to come home. Sebastian gets the impossible happen, together with his contacts and disrupting the whole Canadian network in every way possible to aid his daddy fight his terminal ailment into the bitter end, while he tries to reunite his former friends, Pierre, Al Ain, Dominique, Diane, and Claude to see his old friend before he passes on.
