The Blob

A favorite, this scifi classic follows teen-agers Steve along with his girl, Jane, while they attempt to safeguard their hometown out of the alien lifeform that engulfs whatever it touches. The very first ever to detect that the content and live to tell about this, Steve and Jane witness the blob destroying an elderly person and grow to a terrifying size. But no one else has seen that the goo, and policeman Dave refuses to believe the kids without even proof.
