The Doctor's Horrible Experiment

Living in a Paris suburb, Dr. Cordelier isolates himself from society to do research on brain function. When Cordelier puts up a will that leaves his entire estate to a stranger, Maître Joly, Cordelier's longstanding friend, becomes alarmed. He cannot understand why Cordelier defends him, given that Opale abuses women and children. Joly approaches Cordelier after a colleague's death and learns the truth about his friend's behavior.
