The End of St. Petersburg
The End of St. Petersburg (1927) is a silent film directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin and produced by Mezhrabpom. The End of St Petersburg, made to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution, cemented Pudovkin's reputation as a leading Soviet montage filmmaker. Pudovkin's "revolutionary trilogy" includes Mother (1926) and Storm Over Asia (1928).
