The Legend of the Stardust Brothers
In1985, Macoto Tezka (son of legendary manga creator Osamu Tezuka) met musician and television personality Haruo Chicada, who had composed the soundtrack for a film that never existed: The Legend of the Stardust Brothers. Macoto was 22 years old at the time, a cinema student with numerous short experimental films under his belt but no feature-length debut, and, of course, the TEZUKA name to contend with. Tezka subsequently converted this "fake soundtrack" into the actual film tale of "The Stardust Brothers" with Chicada as producer.
