The Return of the Soldier

Chris Baldry, a returning veteran of World War I, has lost his memory as a result of the atrocities of the war. The soldier is so scarred that he doesn't recognize his own wife, Kitty, or recall their years together. Baldry seeks the companionship of Margaret Grey, an old flame from his boyhood, while attempting to cope with the foreign surroundings of his own home. His amnesia also makes him an easy target for Jenny, his older cousin.
