The Wicker Tree

Director Robin Hardy's reimagining of his eerie 1973 movie, The Wicker Guy. Youthful Christians Beth and Steve, a gospel singer and her cowboy boyfriend, leave Texas to preach door-to-door in Scotland. When, after first misuse, they rate with pleasure and also elation to Tressock, the border fiefdom of Sir Lachlan Morrison, they presume their hosts just wish to listen to more about Jesus. How innocent as well as wrong they are.
