The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm
The nineteenth-century literary masterpieces of the Grimm brothers Wilhelm and Jacob are enacted, as is their life. Wilhelm struggles to make anything enjoyable amidst the multitude of boring nonfiction books they produce, and he collects and publishes oral-tradition fairy stories. Three of their legends, including "The Dancing Princess," "The Cobbler and the Elves," and "The Singing Bone," are reenacted to contrast their actual narrative.
