Tragic Ceremony

Four young people, including the wealthy Bill, Joe, Fred, and Jane, knock on the door of a remote villa when their dune buggy runs out of gas following a tranquil sailing trip. Earlier in the day, Bill gave the attractive Jane a pearl necklace with a reportedly paranormal background, and this subsequently opens a can of worms. They are invited to spend the night in the mansion, which is owned by Lord and Lady Alexander, who are hosting a ceremony attended by a group of eccentrics in black robes. Jane leaves her sleeping chamber in the nighttime, presumably in a trance, and is led to a sacrifice altar where robed houseguests hover over her. As the young woman is about to be stabbed, three of her friends rush to her aid, but they are also witnesses to a chaotic mass murder and flee with emotions of guilt and doubt.
