In 1960s London Melville Farr is on the path to victory. Farr's career and life are idyllic with his practice winning cases and a union to his spouse. But when blackmailers connect Farr to some homosexual person, everything Farr has worked for is threatened. Farr can be really just a closeted gay -- which is problematic, thanks to Britain's anti-sodomy legislation, as it turns out. But instead of committing, Farr makes the decision to fight.
