Earth: Final Conflict

Earth: Final Conflict is a Canadian science fiction television series based on Gene Roddenberry's plot ideas and produced under Majel Barrett-direction. Roddenberry's After his death, it was not developed, filmed, or transmitted. Between October 6, 1997, and May 20, 2002, it aired for five seasons. The show's initial title was Battleground: Earth, but it was altered by the producers because it sounded too similar to L. Ron Hubbard's novel Battlefield Earth. Majel Barrett-Roddenberry served as executive producer. She also made an early appearance as Dr Julianne Belman in a few episodes. Barrett had access to Roddenberry's notes on plot and series concepts, which became the basis for this series following his death.
