How to Buy a Friend

Park Chan-Hong is just an ordinary high school student. He is good at writing, and his parents pressure him to do well in school. Park Chan-Hong doesn't have any specific goals. He is friends with Eom Se-Yoon, who goes to the same high school. She's popular at school. Heo Don-Hyeok also goes to school with Park Chan-Hong. Heo Don-Hyeok is not interested in school, and he works to pay for his living expenses. Heo Don-Hyeok saves Park Chan-Hong from a bully at school one day. Heo Don-Hyeok asks Park Chan-Hong to lend him 300,000 won ($270 USD) so that he can pay his rent. He borrows the money from Park Chan-Hong, but that money was supposed to pay for his private school tuition. Park Chan-Hong has nowhere to go when school is over. He starts to hang out with Heo Don-Hyeok.
