Interceptor
Interceptor is a game show Produced Malcolm Heyworth, Jean Jacques Pasquier and by Jacques Antoine. It was made by Chatsworth in association with Thames and displayed together with one final episode displayed on 1 January 1990 for a New Year special and held back throughout the summer of 1989, around the ITV system. It was made in between The Crystal Maze and treasure-hunt, game shows by exactly the manufacturing company.
The show was hosted treasure-hunt sky-runner Annabel Croft and by tennis player. The Interceptor was played by actor Sean O'Kane.
Interceptor was received by critics and viewers, yet only eight episodes were first made. None the less, the show has something of a cult following, that influenced reruns from 2001 onwards on digital television station Challenge. A people vote from UKGameshows.com at 2002 saw the series the UK's 13th best match show.
