Kath & Kim
Kath & Kim is a American variant of the television comedy group of the same name starring Selma Blair and Molly Shannon. The series premiered on NBC on October 9, 2008. The Australian variant was developed by its own celebrities, Jane Turner and Gina Riley, who also function as executive producers and advisers about this variant that will be co-produced through Reveille Productions and Universal Media Studios.
Its very first episode was launched October 1-2 and its own broadcast has been cancelled following the second episode another week. The series was subsequently pushed to your graveyard slot of 11pm Mondays, and then pre-empted for this year's Australian Open following the first-run airing of episode 9,"Friends". NBC picked up Kath & Kim to get a complete season order of 22 episodes although the series initially garnered reviews from critics and unremarkable ratings. On January 15, 2009, NBC cut the episode order. The season finale of the show aired on March 1-2, 2009. On May19, 2009,'' the show cancellation was confirmed by NBC.
