L.A. Law
L.A. Law is an American television legal drama show that ran for eight seasons on NBC in September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994.
It comprised many of Bochco's trademark features including a large numbers of parallel storylines, societal play and off-the-wall comedy. It represented the ethnic and societal ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured in the show dealt with issues such as racism, abortion, homosexual rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The show regularly also revealed tensions between their junior staff and the wealthy senior lawyer protagonists.
The show was popular also won 15 Emmy Awards throughout its conduct, four that were for Outstanding Drama Series.
