Less Than Kind
Greater Than Kind can be a television comedy-drama show that stars Jesse Camacho as Sheldon Blecher, a teenager growing up in a loving but dysfunctional Jewish family in Winnipeg. The show's cast also includes Nancy Sorel Clara, because his cousins and Wendel Meldrum as Sheldon's parents, Benjamin Arthur because his older brother Josh, along with Maury Chaykin. The Blechers battle to use a school outside of the home in Winnipeg's evaporating North End. Less Than Kind proceeded at February 2010 to HBO Canada, also made its debut on city tv.
The ensemble cast of this critically acclaimed show won Canadian Comedy Awards in 2009 and 2010. Less Than Kind obtained the 2010 Gemini Award for the inaugural award for Best Comedy Series and Best Comedy Program or Series at the 2013 Canadian Screen awards.
The title arrangement and logo for Less Than Kind were motivated by an iconic highway sign at Winnipeg's Confusion Corner intersection, constituting arrows pointing in every direction.
The name of this show is available at the first line spoken by Hamlet:"A little more than kin, and less than kind."
