Lexx

Lexx is a science fiction/fantasy TV show about the adventures of a group of people who don't go together on the organic spaceship Lexx. They go through two universes and meet planets, including one that is a joke version of Earth. The show is a collaboration between Canada and Germany, with some extra money from Britain's Channel 5. Salter Street Films sold the show to the Sci Fi Channel, which started showing Season 2 episodes in the United States in January 2000. Alliance Atlantis later bought Salter Street Films, which helped make Lexx. Lexx was shown in Canada on the Showcase network, which is owned by Alliance Atlantis. Most of the series was shot in Halifax and Berlin, but some scenes were also shot in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia.
