Pets

Pets is an adult British Army sitcom, produced by Fit2Fill Productions Limited. It was aired on Channel 4 and ran for two series, first being aired in 2001, as well as the 2nd in 2002. It was sold from MTV in Italy, Australia, and the Middle East to Fox. The collection was created and written by Andrew Barclay and Brian West, who had worked together winning an award for an advert for The Jerry Springer Show, also on the sketch show We All Know Where You Live. A total of 26 episodes of squirrels were also beamed. They were displayed in early hours of the afternoon, even though it did gain a cult following, and because of this, the show was unknown. There was a requirement on the web site for kids. Finally there was a limited edition DVD provided to purchase via the site. As well as both show, the DVD included two unbroadcast episodes, also a clip show named"The Trials Of Hamish"along with a behind the scenes special named"The Construction Of Pets". Episodes of Pets are available as a free podcast downloadable via iTunes. In 2010, an identical show termed Mongrels aired on BBC3, sparking controversy between them both. The casts of characters at those two shows are almost similar as well, while Mongrels'd five even though Pets had four characters. Additionally, Mongrels' range of locations is far significantly more diverse, while Pets is confined to one flat.
