Respect

Ercüment özer, the story's protagonist, rebels against the contempt and rudeness that we are conditioned to avoid, overlook, and eventually forget. Ercüment özer is a sociopath who is completely consumed by the concept of respect. He is not alone, though, on his compulsive trek this time. Helen and Savas, newlyweds who have just entered the real world, find themselves in precarious positions after being harassed by a group of people and wind up being responsible for a string of killings in Istanbul. Immediately, the concept of disrespect becomes a social and mediatic battleground for the two generations. Regarding the media follow-up, Turkey's most famous morning show host, Hasret, will handle it; however, nobody is aware that she is set to embark on another voyage as well. By examining the origins of this preoccupation, we will be able to observe its effect on society.
