The King's Avatar

Ye Xiu is the star of an esports team that dominates the Chinese leagues of the popular multiplayer game "Glory." His gaming career appears to have come to an end when he is thrown out of his squad, which is eager to sign a lucrative sponsorship deal that he is fiercely opposed to. Dejected, Ye Xiu finds a job at a late-night Internet cafe, where he eventually becomes friends with the business's owner, Chen Guo. Chen Guo eventually exposes her strategy, which is to form a new "Glory" team led by Ye Xui. Will Ye Xiu return to his "Glory" days? And will he be able to recruit–and train–enough comrades to return to the top of the national rankings...and exact retribution on his unfaithful former teammates?
