The Tribe
The Tribe is just a New Zealand/British post-apocalyptic literary TV series. It is set in a near-future in which a virus has wiped out adults, leaving this world to fend off for themselves' kids. The focus of the show is based on an unnamed city occupied by tribes of kids and teenagers. It was primarily filmed in and around Wellington, New Zealand.
The series Was Made by Raymond Thompson and Harry Duffin and by the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group in conjunction with the UK's Channel 5, has been designed and produced. It's aired on over 40 broadcast networks round the earth.
It debuted on Channel 5 to 2-4 April 1999 and quickly gained a sizable group of followers. From 1999 to 2003, 260 half-hour episodes and five string were produced. Series 6 was scheduled to begin filming 2003, but Nick Wilson, of Channel 5, and Raymond Thompson believed that"even though the series was doing well, the cast was getting too old along with the string was starting to elongate the core proposition." They believed the characters were not kiddies fending for themselves without even adults some longer. The series was cancelled. Channel 5 aired the last two episodes on 6 .
