The X Factor

The X Factor is a Australian tv reality music competition, based on the UK series, to find new singing talent. The show's first series was aired from February to May, nevertheless, as the series it has been broadcast before grand final in November from July/August. FremantleMedia Australia produces the X Factor, and is broadcast on the Seven Network. The title"X Factor" describes a singing ability that can be"exceptional" and"some thing" that produces for star quality. Network Ten held rights in 2005 for The X Factor, but fell the show after the first series as a result of poor ratings. This year, the Seven Network went right into a"bidding war" to gain rights for the show, and after won and another chain moved to production. The X Factor has been renewed after an exceptionally successful Australian Idol was broadcast during Network Ten. It is also broadcast in New Zealand on TV3. Two series of those Xtra Factor were aired in 7Two and also 2005 throughout Network Ten at 2010. The show wasn't renewed for another series in 2011. The original judging panel lineup at 2005 contains Mark Holden Kate Ceberano, and John Reid. After the show was restored in 2010, the panel has been replaced by Ronan Keating, Guy Sebastian, Natalie Imbruglia, and Kyle Sandilands. Melanie Brown and Natalie Bassingthwaighte didn't go back for show three and substituted Sandilands and imbruglia. Dannii Minogue and also Redfoo joined the board as replacements including Sebastian and Brown at the fifth series.
