Twenty Twelve
John Morton wrote and directed the BBC television comedy series Twenty Twelve. The satirical on-location documentary, starring Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, and Amelia Bullmore, follows the preparations for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. It premiered on BBC Four in March 2011 to coincide with the 500-day countdown to the opening ceremony. Second season of Twenty Twelve, which began airing on BBC Two on March30,2012, received mostly excellent reviews from critics, and the announcement of a four-part second series was made on April15, 2011. Series 2's third and last set of episodes debuted on July 10th, 2012. The final episode of the series aired on July24,2012, just three days before the Olympic Games' opening ceremony in London.
