Wild America is a documentary television show that is targeted on wild lands of the united states and the animals. By the mid-1970s, Marty Stouffer had come up with full length documentaries. PBS signed to broadcast the show Wild America in 1982 of Marty Stouffer. The show went onto become perhaps one of the popular aired by PBS, renowned for its use of film techniques such as close-ups and slow motion, as well as its portrayal of nature. Stouffer made $135,000 per show from PBS.
The series's production conducted from 1982 to 1994. The show is not any more on PBS. Reruns air in syndication on tv through much of the USA. In 1997, Warner Brothers released a feature picture entitled Wild America, which had been based on his brothers along with the biographical narrative of Marty Stouffer, Mark and Marshall.
