Women's Murder Club

Women's Murder Club was a legal drama that aired on ABC from October12,2007, to May13, 2008. The series is based on James Patterson's 'Women's Murder Club' novel series and is set in San Francisco, California. In addition to Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner, and R. Scott Gemmill, series creators Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain acted as executive producers. Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts co-executive produced, while the latter also served as showrunner. Scott Winant helmed the pilot's direction. The show debuted on Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central, produced by 20th Century Fox Television. ABC placed another three script orders on October31, 2007. The show was almost cancelled when it was revealed on February23,2008, that it would return in late April with three episodes. Women's Murder Club will return with three new episodes on Tuesday, April29, 2008 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/9:00 p.m. Central, replacing Boston Legal, according to a press release dated March31, 2008. The sitcom was not renewed for a second season by ABC Television on May12, 2008.
